They have a multitude of songs that come from different time periods, they are also different styles of musicals, classical, modern and a bit of cabaret.
ReplyDeleteMy lighting design approach to this is to attend rehearsals making notes of how they act with the music and if there is any immediate emotions that jump out at me. To look previous shows to see what has already been done. To sit down and and create a script analysts for each of the songs.
I'm hoping to find out if using the power of colour, I can also tell the story of what is going on within the song, and to see if I can chose the wrong colours but make them look right.
